Man Found Dead at Jain Temple in Mumbai
A man, approximately 45 years old, was found dead at a Jain temple in the Sakinaka area of Mumbai on Friday, according to police. Authorities suspect the death may be a case of suicide.
Police sources informed mid-day.com that the man lived in the Four Bungalows area of Andheri West. He originally hailed from Nashik and worked in the garment business. He is survived by his wife and two children but was living separately from his spouse.
The man was a regular visitor to the Jain Mandir. On Friday morning, he visited the temple and went to the upper area of the premises, which is currently under construction. Police believe he may have taken his life there. No suicide note has been found at the scene.
Senior Police Inspector Sunil Yadav from Sakinaka Police Station stated to mid-day.com, “An ADR (Accidental Death Report) has been registered and further probe in the matter is underway.”
