Man Dies After Fight in Greater Noida

A 30-year-old man died after a fight broke out in Greater Noida’s Dadri during the early hours of Monday. The police reported that he was traveling with another person in a car. The other person is currently hospitalized.

Details of the Incident

Both injured individuals were rushed to a nearby private hospital. Harikesh died during treatment, while Mohit is under observation, according to ACP (Greater Noida) Saumya Singh. The victims, Mohit and Harikesh, were passing by Kaimrala village when they made remarks towards a group of men consuming alcohol.

Police Investigation

“The suspects were consuming alcohol when the victims, who were in a car, passed a comment, and a fight broke out,” said additional DCP (Greater Noida) Sudhir Kumar. The incident occurred at 1 AM, and police were alerted through a 112 emergency call.

Case Details

A case of murder has been lodged at Dadri police station based on a complaint by Kapil Pradhan, a relative of Mohit. The police stated that the accused and the victims knew each other and belonged to the same village. Two of the accused have been detained and are in police custody, but their names have not been disclosed.

Next Steps

The body of the deceased has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway.
