The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has filed a police complaint against an outsourced employee. Some dogs died from natural causes despite receiving veterinary care. The dogs were picked up from sensitive areas like schools and hospitals, following Supreme Court directions.
After the visuals went viral, volunteers and NGO members began gathering unlawfully at the animal care center. They obstructed official vehicles, abused staff, and prevented public servants from doing their jobs. This created serious law and order issues. The complaint seeks an inquiry into the matter and legal action against Mr. Laxman and others involved. It also requests police protection and prevention of unlawful gatherings at the center.
