Himachal Pradesh Delegation Visits Kerala Civil Supplies Corporation
An 11-member delegation from the Himachal Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation visited the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) headquarters in Ernakulam on Monday, January 12.
The team was led by Vice-Chairman Vishal Chambyal. It included board members Rajendra Chaudhary, Vikram Sharma, Nasima Begum, and Pushpinder Thakur. General managers Arvind Sharma and Pankaj Sharma, financial adviser Ajay Mahajan, divisional manager Vijay Sharma, and accounts officer Sarika were also part of the delegation, according to a release.
The delegation held discussions with Supplyco managing director V.M. Jayakrishnan and other officials. They focused on Supplyco’s retail operations, paddy procurement system, and support activities under the National Food Security Act.
The team evaluated Supplyco’s models for market intervention and paddy procurement. They also toured the Supplyco hypermarket at Gandhinagar to observe its operational systems.
