IndiaOne Air Suspends Flights from Jamshedpur
IndiaOne Air has suspended its flights from Jamshedpur to Kolkata and Bhubaneswar indefinitely. This decision follows an accident involving one of its aircraft near Rourkela on Saturday, officials reported on Monday.
Details of the Suspension
Prem Kumar Garg, the chief executive officer (CEO) of IndiaOne Air, stated, “The company does not have additional aircraft to operate flights on both the Kolkata and Bhubaneswar routes from Jamshedpur, after one of our aircraft met with an accident near Rourkela on January 10. We will shortly apply to the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to purchase new aircraft. Until we receive the new aircraft, flight services to Kolkata and Bhubaneswar from Jamshedpur will remain suspended.”

The Rourkela-Bhubaneswar flight experienced an accident near Rourkela on Saturday. Six people were injured, including the pilot and co-pilot.
Aircraft and Refunds
IndiaOne Air had three Cessna aircraft. Two of these operated between other locations within Odisha. The company announced that ticket fares would be refunded to passengers who had already booked flights or made advance bookings.
Future Flight Plans
Previously, IndiaOne Air announced it would discontinue its Jamshedpur-Kolkata flight from January 31 and the Jamshedpur-Bhubaneswar flight from February 28. This is due to the expiration of its regional connectivity scheme (RCS) licence for Jamshedpur on January 31.
