The incident reportedly took place around 8 am when Dharminder Singh and his father, Harnek Singh, caught a stray bull in the village. Eyewitnesses claim the men continued to attack the bull even after it fell to the ground. They alleged that the bull’s spine was broken during the assault.

According to police, the accused later took the injured bull to a veterinary university in Ludhiana. They allegedly fabricated a story, claiming the bull had been in an accident. Despite receiving medical treatment, the bull died from its injuries.

During initial questioning, the accused told police that the bull had entered their home and attacked their animals, which led them to assault it in anger.

Gajjan Singh, a local resident who filed the complaint, stated that the accused often harass people in the area to show dominance. He believes this incident reflects their violent behavior.

ASI Dharam Singh from Dehlon police station confirmed that a case has been registered under Section 325 and Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Dharminder Singh has been arrested, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend Harnek Singh.
