Guinness World Records Achieved in Andhra Pradesh

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced on social media that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) set two Guinness World Records in Andhra Pradesh. This was accomplished by Rajpath Infracon Private Limited, which laid 28.95 lane-km and 10,675 MT of bituminous concrete continuously in 24 hours. This took place in the Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G).

Naidu called it an extraordinary achievement. He noted that it reflects the vision of the Government of India and its focus on creating world-class highway infrastructure. He praised the leadership of Nitin Gadkari and the commitment of engineers, workers, and field teams. They executed the work while meeting strict NHAI quality standards.

The Chief Minister also wished the team well. Two more Guinness World Records are being attempted by January 11, 2026, in the second and third packages of NH-544G.
