New Student Traffic Branch Formed

A total of 25 students, comprising 11 females and 14 males, have joined the newly formed branch. These students received formal training on traffic rules from the Traffic Police Department. They were also given RSP badges, light batons, line yards, and caps.

Students learned to report traffic violations on college grounds using the PPT mobile application. This will help ensure quick action against those who break the rules.

The program was attended by senior police officials, including the Additional Commissioner of Police (East Region), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic). College principal Dr. Sudhakar Jadhavar, faculty members, and students were also present. Around 500 to 600 people attended the event.

The Pune Traffic Police announced plans to establish similar Student Traffic Branches in more educational institutions. This aims to promote road safety and discipline among young citizens.
